As most of you know, RPB is located in Central Texas. Today is all about loving our neighbors in Texas who were affected by Hurricane Harvey.
This a been a tough several days for many of our fellow Texans. We are so close but yet so far from those dealing with the after-effects of the most destructive storm in the history of our state. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you that were in the path of this storm.
A few days ago, the sun finally came out in some of the hardest hit areas. And while the light and receding waters revealed the true aftermath of the storm, it also did something else.
The sunshine revealed all that is right in this world.
- Neighbors helping neighbors.
- Citizens forming human chains to save lives.
- A community leader rallying her thousands of followers to help out.
- Business owners opening their doors to people in need.
This is the business of loving people.
Today I am sharing a few organizations below that are making a difference and RPB's GIVE GET offer. Texans will need help for a long, long time. Stay in touch -- together we can make a difference.
Nurture your neighbor and see how they bloom.
Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and donations for our friends in the affected areas. Wishing you a safe Labor Day weekend.
