1.  Drink water water water.  It is easier said than done, but staying hydrated keeps all of your body functions in check (you following me?) resulting in a very happy camper!

2.   Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day.  Wild fluctuations in our sleep/wake patterns gives our body permission to be moody, tired and frankly no fun to be around!  There’s a reason the word “routine” exists -- our body craves it!

3.   When possible, eat foods made from less than 5 ingredients.  Whole foods are easier on the gut and in turn makes for one happy human!

4.   Move your body.  Exercise in a way that makes you feel energized and happy.  Whether it’s dancing to music played on Pandora, gardening or going to the gym, it’s all good and it all counts!

5.   Pamper yourself.  It could be a visit to the nail salon, a massage, a warm bath or enjoying a glass of wine.  The possibilities are endless.  Taking time out for yourself to clear your mind and relax is not overrated!  It is SO needed in our fast moving world and this ritual will having you smiling in no time.
